PREVENTION IS THE KEY!!
Prevention IS possible. Child sexual abuse is preventable. It will only be prevented if we, the adults of the community, take responsible action to protect our children and advocate for them. 
Through community collaboration, awareness is raised at a higher and more effective level, leading to more adults trained to protect children. It's up to us to protect them. Not one individual. Not one organization. Not one provider. Statistically TEN children are better protected for every ONE adult trained. Be one. Be a steward of children.

What is Child Sexual Abuse?
  • Any sexual act between an adult and a minor or between two minors, when one exerts power over the other.
  • Forcing, coercing or persuading a child to engage in any type of sexual act. It also includes non-contact acts such as exhibitionism, exposure to pornography, voyeurism, and communicating in a sexual manner by phone or internet. (*source D2L.org)​
