The #1 way to protect children?
PRAY. Speak blessings and the Word of God over children and youth. Help them know who they are by teaching them Whose they are.  

RELATIONSHIP IS KEY.
TALK. Talk openly, honestly, and frequently. Be the "go to" person for their questions, no matter how uncomfortable they make YOU feel. It's about THEM.

BE PROACTIVE. Monitor devices and internet use. Be the best gatekeeper you can be. And...since you can't be with them ALL the time...teach them how to be their own gatekeeper as well. Equip and empower children with necessary skills to deal with the world around them. By taking positive action steps, you help children to be more confident and less vulnerable.
