Be trained in child sexual abuse and exploitation prevention, recognition, and response. Keep the knowledge fresh. Go deeper with supplemental training for even more impact. Get re-trained annually to stay on top of your game. Advocate for best practices. Speak up for those without a voice.

Does your church offer a safe environment for children? Be sure.

As Christians we should set the standard for protecting children. Engage in child sexual abuse prevention training and awareness. Host trainings, with clear expectations of staff and volunteers to attend. Make it available (mandatory is best) to all of your congregation as well. Parents and guardians will thank you!
